    <summary type="html">The 'Out of the Ordinary' festival in Sussex has asked Avalon Rising, to organize a 'Conference-in-a-Field' that will host multimedia talks and workshops by an international line-up of authors and researchers. The OOTO festival is taking place between 12th &amp;amp; 14th September 2008 at Knockhatch Farm, near the Long Man of Wilmington in Sussex. Last years event was critically acclaimed by 'Festival Eye' magazine as being "the highlight of 2007".&#xD;

Presentation highlights include MICHAEL BOTT"s talk about his incredible megalithic journey round Britain that was produced into a DVD called 'Standing with Stones'. JOHN NEAL, the worlds leading authority on ancient metrology will be tackling the immensely interesting measurement systems of the ancients. MARIA WHEATLY &amp;amp; BUSTY TAYLOR will be talking about their new book 'Avebury: Sun, Moon &amp;amp; Earth' and PHILIP CARR-GOMM will be looking at the sacred uses of indigineous plants of Britain.
